We Should Be Running

It was a dark, lonely night and the moon was out
And all the streets looked so dead there was no one about
A cold chill spiked my spine, and the darkness took away my pain

And all the shadows of the trees poke into the sky
As they start to get close, I can hear their cries
And I start to see the creatures moving up closer to me

They should be coming
They will be running
Now they are coming
Yes they'll be running
Out of the darkness
Into the streetlight
We should be running away

And now the clouds are beginning to fill the sky
The full moon blocked away, now it's out of sight
Just the dull yellow streetlight flooding all the devils onto me

Now all the streets are much darker than they've ever been
The most violence and pain that they've ever seen
And all the blood from their bodies dripping all over me

I can not stop them
They just want more
Keep running, save my soul
I can not stop them
They just want more
Keep running, got to get away
