One day there were two criminals
Trying to get away
From the Rex Hotel they robbed earlier that day
One said to the other one
Did Johnny get away?
He said, no, he didn't, little Johnny has passed away
Then he looked at him and said, I don't think
That everything will be ok, we can't get away
From the mess we made today
He said, we've been found

I don't know if were gonna be okay, 'cause we've been found
So they hid under a blanket on the back of Little Johnny's truck
The same truck they were supposed to use to get away
But there were snipers on the roof and the truck ain't bullet proof
So they'll hide there in the back if it takes all day
And he turned to his friend and asked him again

He was aiming for the robbers knees but the bullet went astray
