Translated: Angela Buxton
Song of remorse
(Raimon)
filled full of memories,
when night is an old cupboard
and brings the song to us.
When you drink and you live bitterly
in this our loneliness,
when night is an old cupboard
and brings the song to us.
The song that always returns,
the song that returns always
when night is an old cupboard
and brings the song to us.
If you know where you come from
and where you don't want to go,
why does the struggle tire you,
and still make you afraid?
If you know what you want,
for what reason and for who don't you do it?
For what reason and for who?
Deep inside the words live,
the words that don't let us die
when night is an old cupboard
and brings the song to us.
The song that always returns,
the song that returns always
when night is an old cupboard
and brings the song to us.
If you know where you come from
and where you don't want to go,
why does the struggle tire you,
and still make you afraid?
If you know what you want,
for what reason and for who don't you do it?
For what reason, for who?
