Acerca de Fabrizio Moro
Born in Rome on April 9, 1975, Fabrizio Moro (real name: Fabrizio Mobrici) learned to play the guitar when he was a kid. His first experiences were as part of cover bands playing songs by artists such as Guns N' Roses, the Doors, and U2. His first single, "Per Tutta Un'altra Destinazione," was released in 1996. Helped by the musicians who had been backing him for years, in 2000 Moro released his first album, simply titled Fabrizio Moro, and in the same year he took part in the Sanremo Music Festival -- in the Young Artists section -- with "Un Giorno Senza Fine," a song with a strong rock feeling.nnIn 2004 Moro released as a single the power ballad "Eppure Pretendevi di Essere Chiamata Amore" and took part with the song "Situazioni Della Vita" to the compilation album Italianos Para Siempre, conceived for the South American markets and including contributions by names such as Lucio Dalla, Alex Britti, and Claudio Baglioni. The following year his single "Ci Vuole un Business" was the soundtrack of an Italian Red Cross social campaign. In 2007 Moro won the Young Artists section and the Critics Award at the Sanremo Music Festival with the self-penned "Pensa," a song about the fight against mafia. The album Pensa was released concurrently, including also the track "Fammi Sentire la Voce," with which Moro took part in the 2007 edition of the Festivalbar. ~ Aurelio Pasini
