Acerca de Ruth Jacott
Suriname-born vocalist Ruth Jacott moved to the Netherlands at the age of nine. At 17 she began to take part in singing contests, many of which she won. She released her eponymous debut album in 1993, which eventually went platinum. More platinum and gold records followed, including 1995's Geheimen and 1999's Vals Verlangen. In 2010 she released A Tribute to Billie Holiday. ~ James Christopher Monger
