Acerca de Sizzy Rocket
As Sizzy Rocket, singer/songwriter Sabrina Bernstein combines punk influences and pop hooks. Bernstein performed everywhere she could while growing up in Las Vegas. After graduating high school, she studied at NYU's Clive Davis School of Music, but eventually dropped out to make music on her own. In 2014, she released her debut single, "I Wanna Rob," and her cover of the Beastie Boys' "Girls" became a viral hit. The following year, she worked with Flosstradamus on "Don't Trip," which appeared on his EP with Run the Jewels, Need for Speed. Sizzy Rocket's debut album Thrills appeared in 2016 and featured the single "Bestie." That year, she also launched her label Diet Punk, which released music from Shiny Wet Machine, Bernstein's side project with the Kickdrums' Alex Fitts. Along with the singles "Still," "Dope," and "Amphetamine," Bernstein released the mixtape Hot Summer via Diet Punk in 2017. In addition, she co-wrote "O.D.D." with Hey Violet, which appeared on their debut album From the Outside, and helped pen Matoma and Noah Cyrus' single "Slow." Early in 2018, Sizzy Rocket issued the Mulholland EP. ~ Heather Phares
