An independent contemporary R&B singer and songwriter who has worked with MegaMan (Lil Wayne) and Boi-1da (Drake), Haley Smalls specializes in ballads and slow jams with attitude. After she was featured as a vocalist on songs by the likes of Treasure Fingers and Bizzy Crook, the Toronto native made her proper debut in 2015. That was the year she released This Is Me, a MegaMan-produced mixtape with a featured appearance from Victoria DiGiovanni, a fellow member of songwriting team the Startaz, as well as one from Kardinal Offishall, who featured Smalls the same year on his "Insert Here." A second tape, Imagination, was out by the end of 2015 with another Startaz partner, Khadijah Lopez, among the guests. A ten-track release billed as an EP, Heart of Gold, arrived in 2017. ~ Andy Kellman
