Lovingly retro, ambitious, and emotionally epic, Brooklyn-based alternative rock outfit Atomic Tom blend the arena rock grandeur of the Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, and Coldplay with the '80s, soundtrack-ready precision of INXS, the Cure, and Echo & the Bunnymen. Formed in 2009 by vocalist Luke White, bass player Philip Galitzine, guitarist Eric Espiritu, and drummer Tobias Smith, the group released its debut album, Moment, on November 22, 2010. ~ James Christopher Monger
