It was a cold foggy snowy morning I pushed you through the snow The rocks beneath my shoes Making me walk crooked, don't you know
I was feeling like I couldn't catch my breath We didn't have much anything Just each other and no place to go We had each other

It was a beautiful evening As we looked up at the stars (that were not ours) I held my little baby tight It felt so right
