Month of May

I'm not getting used to it,
I keep searching for an excuse to quit, Dark linen she cut the threads,
and I take it all on the chin.
I blacked out another day,
On second thought the Month of May,
She takes me far away,
She's the only thing that pulls me down, To earth.
I count my lessons, one or two,
I've seen some things and stare straight through, This life was not meant for me
Or just for you.
I Drive myself up the wall,
Never know when I will fall,
She's always there to carry me home.
I'm not getting used to it,
I keep searching for an excuse to quit, Time calls it all sinks in and I,
Take it on the chin.
I blacked out another day
On second thought the Month of May,
She takes me far away, far away, far away.
Would you be there if I call?
Would you be there when I fall?
Will you make me feel when everything is numb? Would you be there if I call?
Would you be there when I fall?
Will you make me feel when everything is numb?
I'm not getting used to it,
I keep searching for an excuse to quit, Time calls it all sinks in and I,
Take it on the chin,
I blacked out another day,
On second thought the month of May,
She takes me far away, far away, far away.
