Never Lose
Sometimes I hold back when fear takes it's toll
Sometimes I aim low when I'm setting a goal
Sometimes I'm stuck and filled with regret
Sometimes I don't try because of a threat
I got control when I realized
Good things come to the person that tries
If I can learn to laugh, I can cope with the blues
If I win or if I learn then I never can lose

Then I'm in the lucky few that always can choose

I've heard it said often that; "This too will pass."
I've even been told: "I'll look back and laugh"
I've heard many times: "There's a time and a place"
That it's slow and it's steady that oft wins the race
Some say, "You can't - Just face the facts"
But I'd rather be one of the people that acts
