Not Afraid

In Control


Through the years I've come to realize
that there's always going to be someone better,
quicker, fitter, smarter, stronger than me
but when I look in the mirror at least
I can accept the person I see
I'm not afraid to be me
And even if I'm all alone
and everyone turns their back and walks away
I don't know if I'd feel any different than I do today
but I get by
