The days felt slow
Felt like minutes but only seconds
Nowhere to go
At least in my mind
My heart felt slow
But I was clear of any sickness
No one had told
Me that it takes time
And yeah I know that this is ridiculous
And yeah I know it's all in my mind
All on my own I let myself crash down
Only one thing kept me together
Expressed emotions all through pens and papers
I had my notes feel every letter
I've kept my notes
At first I felt no different
But seeing how I felt each letter
The past behind me
I can't stop and turn back now
Because my notes make me feel better
