Paths
I've never, seen the streets this way
Snow dripping and freezing, oh the world is so grey
No birds are singing
No birds are home
Here's the beginning of a cloudy lettered poem
Screaming, where are you going?
Walking and waving at the, sea and you know when it's not
The path in mind
I've never, seen the streets so faint
Oh how I wish, I knew how to paint
When the sun is down
Or when the sun is up
If the sun will drown
Or if it's at its top
Dreaming of, Tobago and
Walking and waving at the, sea and you know when it's not
The path in mind
I've never seen the streets so cruel
It bites and spits
And a yelling old fool
Streets can be deceiving
Streets can be unkind
Here's the grieving of a young mans treacherous mind
Screaming, where am I going?
Walking and waving at the, sea and you know when it's not
The path in mind
