Pinstripe Web

Pin stripe web is all that I wore
And you had to say my name to get in the door
A folded slip, a time and a place
But the hardest thing to do was get off the floor

Will my head fall off?
With my hands up high
Did my pulse go up?
Do we die?

The fire blooms - we're passing the moon but I wanted to stay
All I see is pleading with me not to get away
I lost the fight - my body is light, but I wanted to say
Some new breed will follow me if I get away now

A bright blue ball is waiting for me
It's a long and lonely wait for year seventeen
Hot red light is burning their eyes
And we all should just agree that it's no surprise

Will the ground erupt?
Will the water rise?
Will it lift you up?
Will you --
