After everything I've done
After everything I've been through
I came to realize one of the most fundamental truths in the universe
There is no purpose
This life we have
This frail and rotten body
Is all there is
There's no higher meaning
No heaven, no hell
No purpose and most importantly of all
No god
Nothing we do matters
So many faces I have seen in my life
All those lost souls just trying to survive
So many memories that burn inside me
They tear me down and keep me from being free
I have tried to be something I can't be
Tried to hide the darkness in me
I tried so hard to learn what life is all about
But I have failed and now there is no way out
We are the ones that live in the dark
We are your world that keeps tearing apart
We are the unease you can not shake
We are the nightmare that keeps you awake
We are the violence you refuse to fight
We are the lust in the middle of the night
We are the shadow, we are disease
We are the ones whose souls are aching for release
