Initially forming as the cover band Cikini Stones Complex in 1983, Slank have become Indonesia’s most important rock group. Buoyed by powerful, charming vocals, visceral guitars and fun-loving rhythms rooted in ‘80s rock, the five-piece from Jakarta have amassed a devoted following of millions thanks to their revered songbook devoted to peace, love and good times.
