Another Century
The mountains make me feel stupid
They question all of my lies
I lie here being Goliath
Stunned by the simple reply
I find your body unfolded
And drawing my hope inside
And now
I'm looking for escape
To an unfamiliar place
Don't you want the same?
You know
You're burning through my mind
It's smokey
And I like it
The salesman said it was deadly
His time-travelling jelly bean
He said it would bring us confession
The sky a cartoon bouquet
But the past came out of the graveyard
And tomorrow became our escape
I was haunted by the sound of smoke
That filled my head
From far
Far away
In another century
