It was a wealth of disappointment
I would recommend it highly

Because I thought I would be happy
And my ego often traps me

The idea was so appealing
To be sleeping on the ceiling

And I dismissed my doubts as hokey
But the landing was what broke me

It was as fragile as an eyelash
And then it lingered like a skin rash

It was the flowers and the sunshine
But the canary in the coal mine
Says beware of the canine
