Everest

In the sun I meet my journey maker
A giant in the icy landscape
I have never felt the cold so bitter
Takes away my breath, my lungs surrender

I’m too high to hide
I’m too high to fight
I’m too high to hide
I’m too high to fight

From this view I see the earth’s depletion
But loss gives hope for resurrection
From this moment ends becomes beginning
Ever resting is a test for living

I’m too high to hide
I’m too high to fight
I’m too high to hide
I’m too high to fight
