Glass House
OUR GLASS HOUSE
Down on my knees in the shattered glass
You showed your true colors, you took off your mask
With half open eyes, I ignored who you were
The line between what is and what was is no longer blurred
I need to fill the part of me
That you hollowed out when I became we
And when I do will I be free
You threw a stone at our glass house
You didn't give me time to get out
The walls fell inside our glass house
You left me frozen in my tracks
And you never looked back
I tried to scrape the fragments, one shard at a time
My hands being cut by a love that once was mine
Now I need to fill the part of me
That you hollowed out when I became we
And when I do will I be free
You threw a stone at our glass house
You didn't give me time to get out
The walls fell inside our glass house
You left me frozen in my tracks
Why did we build this glass house
With walls where everyone can see...
Oh, what goes on in our glass house
It's there for all the world to see
You didn't shelter me
Why did we build this glass house
The one where anyone can see
You threw a stone at our glass house
You didn't give me time to get out
The walls fell inside our glass house
You left me frozen in my tracks
Why did we build this glass house
With walls where everyone can see...
Everyone can see in our glass house
