El presidente de la Generalitat (Gobierno catalán), Pere Aragonès, anunció ayer en Santiago de Chile —donde se encuentra en viaje oficial— que a finales de septiembre Catalunya homenajeará al cantautor chileno Víctor Jara con motivo del 50 aniversario de su asesinato por parte de las fuerzas armadas de la dictadura militar de Augusto Pinochet . Lo hará con el concierto Mil guitarres a iniciativa de la Embajada de Chile y que contará con la colaboración de la Generalitat y el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona.
