Twenty years of time lived have passed,
the wrong way and on the rebound.
Twenty years have gone by,
marginal and outcast
from the concert of the world.
Constantly devalued,
harmonised, televised.

And they are twenty years of fears and silence,
twenty years gone by.
And they are twenty years of trying to survive,
twenty years gone by.
Twenty years of moral enemy.
Without charm or disenchantment
I have built the song
of angular rigour
and oppressed reason.
