human beings homeless
in less than three weeks
and they killed or maimed
40,000 of your men
and your women
and your children.

They said they were victims.
They said you were Arabs.
They called your
apartments and gardens
guerrilla strongholds.
Then they told you to leave,
didn’t you read
the leaflets that they dropped
from their hotshot fighter jets?
They told you to go.

Yes, I did know it was the money

and the planes
and the tanks
that they used to

Este sábado a las 08:15 horas en el Hospital D'Antony de Paris, donde vivía desde hace más de cuarenta años, ha fallecido a la edad de 73 años Ángel Parra, víctima de un cáncer de pulmón que se había extendido a su hígado.

Acompañado de un importante elenco de músicos, Joan Isaac estrenaba el 11 de marzo de 2017, en la sala Luz de Gas de Barcelona, su trabajo más reciente: Manual d’amor,  disco que aparecía publicado ese mismo día. En este espectáculo, encuadrado en el festival Barnasants 2017, el cantautor exhibía, en su totalidad, las canciones incluidas en su nueva publicación, que ha ido componiendo durante los últimos años y que cuentan con un protagonista común: el amor en todas sus expresiones.
