Gemitaiz, born Davide de Luca, is a hard-edged rapper who has achieved major commercial success in his native Italy. The native of Rome released several mixtapes through Honiro Label, including the first three volumes in his Quello Che Vi Consiglio series, before he released his proper debut album. While signed to Gué Pequeno and DJ Harsh's Tanta Roba label, he issued L'Unico Compromesso (2013), the MadMan collaboration Kepler (2014), and Nonostante Tutto (2016), the latter two of which topped Italy's official FIMI chart. Part of the rapper's success could be attributed to his range of collaborative work, which involved appearances on tracks by Don Joe & Shablo, Salmo, and Jake La Furia. ~ Andy Kellman
