Seville, Spain

A pop group that formed in Seville, Spain, Siempre Así (Rafa Almarcha, Sandra Baron, Mati Carnerero, Rocio Garcia Muniz, Maite Parejo, Paola Prieto, and Nacho Sabater) got rolling in 1991, and was a major force in rhumba- and flamenco-tinged pop. Their first album, a self-titled affair, was released in 1992. The band would go on to release ten more full-lengths, including 2009's El Amor Es Otra Cosa. ~ Chris True
