Erdian Prihartanto (a.k.a. Anji) had his heart set on superstardom from the very beginning of his career. Failing to get through Indonesian Idol auditions in 2004, he joined Drive—the pop-rock band that would make his name in the industry and serve as a stepping stone for greater heights. With his soaring voice well and truly in the public ear, the outspoken singer left the band in 2011 to pursue an award-winning solo career, complete with pop-leaning melodies to complement his versatile vocals. Singles like bittersweet “Dia” and hip-hop foray “Flashback” are just two examples of his mellow moods and emotive depths.
