David Arkenstone is a chart-topping New Age musician and composer who has released more than 60 critically acclaimed studio albums.
∙ After starting his music career in a progressive rock band in college, Arkenstone switched to New Age music after hearing the work of electronic-instrumentalist KITARO. ∙ He’s had 22 LPs reach the Top 10 of Billboard’s New Age Albums chart, including Citizen of Time and In the Wake of the Wind, which both peaked at No. 1. ∙ Credited as a composer, he’s worked on multiple video game soundtracks, including Emperor: Battle of Dune and the War of Worldcraft series. ∙ His accolades include Best New Age Album Grammy nominations for 1991’s In the Wake of the Wind, 1999’s Citizen of the World, 2004’s Atlantis, and 2019’s Fairy Dreams.
