Eddie Angel is one of the guitarists in the instrumental garage/surf/rock & roll revival band Los Straitjackets. In 1993 he recorded a solo album, Eddie Angel's Guitar Party, which revived the rawer sounds of late-'50s and early-'60s instrumental and surf rock, with Link Wray being a particularly prominent reference point. ~ Richie Unterberger
