Bay Area rapper Quadeca rose to fame on YouTube, where he went from posting about video games to mimicking popular flows to creating his own music.
• Inspired by Eminem, Quadeca recorded his first freestyle when he was just 7 years old. • He joined YouTube in 2012 and started out mostly uploading videos related to FIFA soccer video games. • In 2016, Quadeca put his detractors on blast by posting “You Can’t Rap,” a showcase for his mini-uzi flow. • He released the self-deprecating mixtape Bad Internet Rapper in 2017. • The MC landed on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart with his 2019 album Voice Memos. • Quadeca engaged in a rap feud with fellow YouTuber KSI, which they settled in 2019 by playing the video game FIFA 19.
