Formed in 1984 out of the ashes of The Naughty Women, The Suicide Kings were Los Angels' answer to The Heartbreakers and The Ronnets during their run throughout the Mid-80's. Along their four year stint of playing up and down the West Coast, their seminal brand of gritty rock and roll achieved a local following without even releasing an album or having a steady line up. Eventually, some of the ex-Suicide Kings would form the legendary Humpers, while their scattered demo and live tracks would be re-released on "Teenage Disaster" courtesy of Sympathy for the Record Industry in early 1999. ~ Mike DaRonco
