Boy Attendant

Outside church Sankt Johannes in Malmö
He came by and lit his cigarette with my candle
Flakes of poison he left on my dress
Some flaming went on inside my chest

The whole high school he tried to impress
Hoping that I would give up soon
But first time I saw him in full bloom
In that white ordinary dress

So dark and cosy in the room
A lot of students there
You couldn't see me watching you
It was way too many there

We had been up since early morning
My pouches were black and I was yawning
We built up a que in the dark
Our leader said that she was ready to start
With candles only in her hair
She could easily hug him, I saw it happen
I was busy with one in my hand
It nearly had a silent death, I was starting to feel sad
So dark and cosy in the room, a lot of students there
You couldn't see me watching you, it was too many there.

I guess she saw we were in love
Like drunks we tried to keep the straight line and participate
Sankta Lucia blew out my candle
Right in front of the audience

So dark and cosy in the room
A lot of students there
No one could see when I left the room
There was no candle light on me

I never again want to meet you like this (Sankta Lucia, Sankta Lucia)
I never said I wanted to meet you like this (Sankta Lucia, Sankta Lucia)
