Hungover

I'm so hungover, so hungover from yesterday
those drinks were so good, best mojito I ever had
idiotic, irresponsible lady throwing money out the window till she's wasted
not offering a thought to a devastated friend
whose car she bought was stolen, it was gone

A shower should feels good and warm
embracing my fragile body and and soul
mending and comforting my hungover mind
a shower feels good and warm
covering up the mistakes I made, they make me feel so torn
someone gives meaning to your life, but it's easier to push them away than fight

playing the clown is the easiest thing, pretending that nothing matters to you
a grin on a face covering up so many mistakes
stick with it long enough and no one will get close to the truth

why should you think of anyone else
when all you're left with in the end is yourself
why waste your time on a friend
after all she'll probably leave with your man in the end
stick to the obscene and irresponsiblities
be selfish, just get everything your way
someone gives meaning to your life, but it's easier to push them away than fight

mmm o-o-oh, yea-a-ay o-oh oooooh-oh-oh
yeah oooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
mmm o-o-oh, yea-a-ay o-oh oooooh-oh-oh, oooh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh

why should you think of anyone else
when all you're left with in the end is yourself
why waste your time on a friend
after all she'll probably leave with your man in the end
stick to the obscene and irresponsibilities
be selfish, just get everything your way
someone gives meaning to your life
but it's easier to push them away than fight

this must seem like a depressing song a no good song, no moral
but I assure you it's just reverse psycholog
hopefully I will get someone to understand and to listen
so they can take care of their family and friends
