Misfit

I struggle with the written word
But that don't make it not beautiful
I'll mumble till I look absurd
Cuz I'll make something beautiful

You ask me
How ya do it can ya give me some time
Sit in on a session and throw me a line

I, I don't have to mind
Cuz I could never find a place to fit in
Fought, harder every time
Cuz you could never find a place to fit in
A misfit

I woke up with a written goal
Burn your house down while you're sleeping comfortable
Practiced what I preached and preached it from my soul
Till the guilty take this personal

You ask me
How ya do it can ya give me some time
Sit in on a session and throw me a line

Sang and I played till my fingers bled
Till I saw a crowd of us singing songs from my head

Now I, I don't have to mind
Cuz I could never find a place to fit in
Fought, harder every time
Cuz you could never find a place to fit in
But now you want to find a place to fit in
A Misfit
