Nowhere
Cold coffee and a wet cigarette
Life feels great
Got up this morning, didn’t care to wake up
I downed the last beer I ashed in last night
Now I can’t remember where I left my girlfriend, I hope she’s safe
I know I’ve got to get away, though some might say I left a long time ago
Where am I going, what will I do?
I’ve been living this life for so long even I believe it’s true
Now there’s nothing worse than forgetting your dreams and
Not to care
Where are you, she asked over the long distance line, I just closed my eyes and said
I’m nowhere (I'm nowhere)
'Cause I’m nowhere (I'm nowhere)
Life is a vending machine and all the buttons are screwed
And now that I’ve punched them and smoked ’em, broke it open and stole 'em
I find I’m not in the mood
And I have fought with teeth and claws to get away from the herd
Now everything is said and done, I thought I’d won
I’ve seen freedom become the loneliest word
Where am I going, what will I do?
I’ve been living this life for so long even I believe it’s true
Now there’s nothing worse than forgetting your dreams and
Not to care
Where are you, she asked over the long distance line, I just closed my eyes and said
I’m nowhere (I'm nowhere)
'Cause I’m nowhere (I'm nowhere)
I'm nowhere (I'm nowhere)
'Cause I’m nowhere (I'm nowhere)
I'm no where
I got nothing on my mind and even less in my head
And all the pressure on my chest, like a vending machine, might explain the ash on my bed
Why do fridges open to the right and freezers to the left?
And as I ponder on these sweet mysteries of life, I don’t even realise how close I am to boring myself to death
I’m nowhere (I'm nowhere)
'Cause I’m nowhere (I'm nowhere)
I'm nowhere (I'm nowhere)
(I'm nowhere) (I'm nowhere)
