El cantautor catalán Joan Manuel Serrat recibirá la máxima distinción académica de la UNCUYO en marzo, en una visita de tres días que incluirá un concierto homenaje con la Orquesta Sinfónica y un encuentro abierto con el público. El trombonista, compositor y productor neoyorquino de origen puertorriqueño Willie Colón falleció a los 75 años tras complicaciones respiratorias. Figura central de la Fania All-Stars, impulsor de la "salsa con conciencia" y autor de clásicos como Idilio, Gitana y El Gran Varón, deja un legado que redefinió la salsa como herramienta de identidad y denuncia social.
