The time is such

requires love, and each one finds its mate:
I hear the brave deer roaring in the forest
and its fierce roar is taken for a sweet song;
magpies and crows sing so sweetly
that their own kind, delighted, fall in love with them.
The nightingale longs for this to happen,
when his song frightens his beloved.
And so, if this distresses me, it's because
I see the ones who are loved but are unable to love
and the coarse one who passes as a suitable lover
for love prevents him from being seen as he is.
From this come my pious complaint
that indifference blinds my lady,
not knowing the servant who adores her
she doesn't want to think what or how great his love is.
Not like the one who's lost his wealth
risking it to see if he could win more,
loving you, I've decided that you should love me,
but I haven't succeeded in it.
I find I'm completely naked, wrapped in a blanket:
love has my will in pawn
and what grieves my heart so much
is the fact that she does not see my great need.
Lily among thorns, I hunt the wild goose, with a kite
and the running hare with a lap dog:
each one of them is alive in the world
and my weak breast sings the passion of Palm Sunday.

Ayer falleció en el Hospital Josep Trueta de Girona el gestor cultural y poeta italiano Sergio Secondiano Sacchi (Milán, 1948), una de las mentes más brillantes y creativas vinculadas al histórico Club Tenco, institución fundamental en la defensa y promoción de la canción de autor.
El cantautor catalán Joan Manuel Serrat recibirá la máxima distinción académica de la UNCUYO en marzo, en una visita de tres días que incluirá un concierto homenaje con la Orquesta Sinfónica y un encuentro abierto con el público. La resolución destaca su compromiso con la libertad, la diversidad cultural y los derechos humanos.
La cantautora siciliana Carmen Consoli cantó ayer 22 de febrero en Paral·lel 62 de Barcelona dentro del Festival BarnaSants, en un concierto de doble estreno: la presentación en Barcelona de su nuevo disco Amuri Luci (Amor Luz) y su memorable encuentro en el escenario con la Orquestra de Músiques d’Arrel de Catalunya (OMAC).
El cantautor valenciano Raimon presenta Aquest jo que jo soc (Este yo que yo soy), una extensa biografía escrita por Miquel Alberola que recorre su trayectoria vital y artística desde la infancia en Xàtiva hasta su despedida de los escenarios en 2017. El volumen propone una mirada amplia y matizada sobre una figura esencial de la canción de autor europea.
Ha fallecido en Roma, durante la madrugada de hoy, Marta Contreras Laporte, actriz, cantante, directora teatral, animadora cultural y autora musical chilena, figura relevante de la Nueva Canción Chilena y de la vida artística de Valparaíso.
