against the startled blue
of a still winter sky
in Barcelona.
The city is already awakening
with all its sounds.
In the University the Greys(*),
like in many other days of the year,
for very many years,
are ready to enter the lecture rooms;
eager for culture
and to do gymnastic exercises
on the heads of the students;
who don’t want to understand
the subtle theory of public order,
defended by, among others,
the local living forces
with a complete lack of hegemonic
interest in the good of the country;
a concept of slight ambiguity
and of a more than profitable use
throughout the changing and multiform times.
In the factories the workers
have already been working for hours
in order to live
like the workers live in this country.
In case they don’t,
the same Greys,
eager to learn all the trades,
explain with arguments that are
more schematic, forceful
and easily understood,
the same theory that is explained in the University:
the absorbing necessity of public order.
The living and private forces,
a little more interested,
and showing in an ostentatious way
their concept of hegemony,
even if only local,
go on defending
the inexpressible theory of public order for the good
of the country;
a concept of slight ambiguity
and of a more than profitable use
throughout the changing and multiform times.
All Europe knows:
Spain is tolerant
with painters, musicians,
Intellectuals, actors and those learning to be poets.

El Cancionero y Discografía de Violeta Parra, impulsado por cancioneros.com, continúa siendo una de las investigaciones documentales más importantes dedicadas a la universal artista chilena. Cuatro años de investigación permitieron recuperar 520 canciones, reconstruir su discografía, corregir numerosos errores históricos y fijar datos fundamentales sobre una de las figuras esenciales de la música latinoamericana.
El pasado 18 de julio de 2026 se reunieron 11 comparsas de todo el territorio español en la pequeña localidad de Palau-Solità i Plegamans, a 25 km de Barcelona. Una concentración carnavalera uruguaya que finalizó con un concierto de todo un referente de este género musical afrouruguayo, Eduardo Da Luz.
La actriz Tilda Espluga y el guitarrista griego Manolis Androulidakis estrenan en Cataluña un espectáculo que une literatura y música para conmemorar los ochenta años de Zorba el griego, dentro de la programación del festival Perifèria Cultural.
Paripé publica Pájaro azul. Cartas desde el exilio, un volumen que reúne las cartas que Mercedes Sosa escribió entre 1978 y 1981 durante su exilio forzado. Editado por Araceli Matus, Agustina Pérez Rial y Graciela Goldchluk, el libro ofrece una mirada inédita sobre la dimensión más íntima de la cantante y da origen también a un documental y una exposición.
Más de treinta artistas participaron en un concierto con todas las entradas agotadas que recorrió cincuenta años de historia del Festival Grec de Barcelona a través de la canción. La coproducción del TRESC (Abacus), el Grec Festival de Barcelona y el Taller de Músics reunió sobre el escenario voces de distintas generaciones y tradiciones musicales en un espectáculo concebido como una dramaturgia colectiva.
