The large and the small fish will seek shelter

La cantautora mexicana Natalia Lafourcade actuó en solitario ayer domingo en el Liceu de Barcelona en el marco del Suite Festival, en un concierto cargado de emoción radical, depuración estilística, mestizaje sonoro, dramaturgia íntima y canción de autor en estado puro. Sílvia Pérez Cruz fue su invitada en sensible abrazo musical.
La exposición Cómo diseñar una revolución: La vía chilena al diseño, que podrá verse en el Disseny Hub Barcelona del 2 de julio al 16 de noviembre de 2025, recupera a través de 250 piezas —incluyendo las portadas de discos de la Nueva Canción Chilena— el papel fundamental del diseño gráfico e industrial en el proyecto de transformación social impulsado por Salvador Allende.
El periodista e investigador cubano Humberto Manduley presenta La memoria girando en la luz: Santiago Feliú en mis recuerdos, un libro que rescata la figura del trovador cubano desde la memoria personal, recorriendo su obra, sus influencias y su lugar en la canción de autor contemporánea.
El 22 de julio, más de una docena de artistas se reunirán en Barcelona para rendir tributo a Dioptria, la obra más emblemática de Pau Riba y una de las más referenciales para la Nova Canço. Con la implicación de sus hijos; De Mortimers, la banda que lo acompaño los últimos 20; y nombres como Maria del Mar Bonet, Roger Mas, Pascal Comelade, Oriol Tramvia o Rita Payés; el concierto se plantea como una celebración única de su legado.
Camila Guevara, joven artista cubana de 24 años nieta de Pablo Milanés y del Che Guevara, ha iniciado su carrera musical con el disco Dame flores, tras un año marcado por la pérdida de su madre, su abuelo y su padre, Camilo Guevara. A pesar del dolor, su voz y su música la han sostenido, componiendo desde emociones intensas y personales.
