El cantautor italo-argentino Piero falleció el miércoles 7 de octubre en Buenos Aires a los 81 años, después de más de seis décadas de trayectoria. Autor e intérprete de canciones como Mi viejo, Para el pueblo lo que es del pueblo, Que se vayan ellos y Pedro Nadie, desarrolló una obra en la que convivieron la canción popular, el compromiso social y un repertorio centrado también en la paz y la solidaridad.
Frank Delgado publica Archivos Descalcificados, un disco grabado en 2018 que reúne diez canciones que habían quedado fuera de trabajos anteriores. El álbum cuenta con arreglos y guitarras de Yibrán Rivero y funciona, según explica el propio cantautor cubano, como una recopilación lógica de composiciones pertenecientes a momentos muy distintos de su trayectoria, algunas escritas hace más de cuarenta años y otras hace más de veinte.
El fotógrafo Maxi Vernazza publica Alguien en el mundo, un libro que reúne imágenes de Charly García tomadas entre 1998 y 2008, durante una de las etapas más intensas de su trayectoria: los años atravesados por el concepto Say No More. El volumen nace de casi dos mil fotografías, analógicas y digitales, y recorre escenarios, viajes, estudios, hoteles y momentos cotidianos del músico argentino.
