El trovador cubano Silvio Rodríguez ha anunciado la publicación para este próximo mes de junio de su nuevo álbum Quería saber con canciones "del siglo XXI menos una".
El último libro del maestro y cronista fundamental de la canción de autor Fernando González Lucini, Volad canciones, volad, nos invita a un viaje profundo y emotivo por la poesía hecha canción. Un libro, resultado de un esfuerzo monumental en investigación y documentación que reúne a los trece poetas más musicados en español, con sus trece poemas más versionados.
La Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE) ha concedido, por unanimidad de su Junta Directiva, las Medallas del 125 Aniversario de la entidad a un selecto grupo de creadores de diversas disciplinas artísticas, reconociendo sus valiosas aportaciones a la sociedad. Entre los galardonados destacan los nombres de Silvio Rodríguez, Mayte Martín y Rozalén.
Los Estudios Ojalá y la oficina de Silvio Rodríguez presentará el libro La Habana, día de un año. A más de medio siglo de una 'nueva trova', escrito por Patricia Ballote Álvarez y que rememora la importancia del primer concierto conjunto ofrecido por Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés y Noel Nicola en la Casa de las Américas el 19 de febrero de 1968.
El legado de Atahualpa Yupanqui, uno de los máximos exponentes de la música y la poesía argentina, se enriquece con la presentación de un nuevo disco titulado Atahualpa Yupanqui en Michigan, un concierto en vivo grabado el 30 de octubre de 1983 en la Universidad de Michigan, Estados Unidos.
