El pasado 18 de julio de 2026 se reunieron 11 comparsas de todo el territorio español en la pequeña localidad de Palau-Solità i Plegamans, a 25 km de Barcelona. Una concentración carnavalera uruguaya que finalizó con un concierto de todo un referente de este género musical afrouruguayo, Eduardo Da Luz.
El coronel retirado Nelson Haase Mazzei, condenado a 25 años de prisión por el secuestro y asesinato de Víctor Jara y Littré Quiroga, fue detenido por la Policía de Investigaciones tras permanecer prófugo. La justicia chilena ordenó su ingreso inmediato en prisión para cumplir la condena impuesta por estos crímenes cometidos tras el golpe de Estado de 1973.
La película documental dedicada a Fito Páez propone un recorrido íntimo y en primera persona por más de cuatro décadas de vida y trayectoria artística del músico argentino. Dirigida por Matías Gueilburt y construida a partir de más de un año de seguimiento, material de archivo inédito, actuaciones y conversaciones personales, la producción se estrenará mundialmente el 3 de septiembre en Netflix.
