El trovador cubano Silvio Rodríguez ha anunciado la publicación para este próximo mes de junio de su nuevo álbum Quería saber con canciones "del siglo XXI menos una".
Los Estudios Ojalá y la oficina de Silvio Rodríguez presentará el libro La Habana, día de un año. A más de medio siglo de una 'nueva trova', escrito por Patricia Ballote Álvarez y que rememora la importancia del primer concierto conjunto ofrecido por Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés y Noel Nicola en la Casa de las Américas el 19 de febrero de 1968.
El musicólogo Víctor Navarro presenta una investigación sobre la obra del músico chileno Patricio Castillo, quien fuera integrante fundador de Quilapayún, y partícipe de importantes discos de la Nueva Canción Chilena y pilar fundamental de la música popular de su país.
La joven compositora y trombonista Rita Payés ha estrenado su nuevo sencillo titulado El Cervatillo, el primer adelanto de su próximo álbum De camino al camino.
La cantautora catalana Lia Sampai ha lanzado su tercer álbum de estudio, Un Delta frágil, una obra que profundiza en las complejidades de las Terres de l'Ebre, la tierra que la ha visto crecer. Este álbum sigue la estela de sus trabajos anteriores, pero introduce una exploración más profunda de su contexto territorial, abordando tanto su riqueza natural como las problemáticas sociales y políticas que enfrenta la zona.
